MAYHEM's BLASPHEMER On Side Project: 'People Should Fear Black Metal'

MAYHEM guitarist Blasphemer has spoken to Kerrang! magazine about his new side project, MEZZERSCHMITT, featuring fellow MAYHEM drummer Hellhammer and RED HARVEST keyboardist Lrz. According to Blasphemer, German magazines have refused to review the band's debut EP, "Weltherrschaft" (which translates as "World Rule"). "Germany said 'Fuck off,' , because it's too brutal, because I fuck around with their past. I am not provoking just to provoke, but they get provoked. Black metal should be more connected to danger. People should fear black metal." MEZZERSCHMITT's "Weltherrschaft" is out now on Season Of Mist Records.
